Parents: please discuss these rules with your
children and guests.
Note especially the first three rules, which states that Mesa residents are
subject to a $50. fine for a first violation by a family member or guest of
a family member, and $100. fine for a second violation.

If a Mesa resident wishes to have a private party at the pool or other
common area in the Mesa, the date and hours of the event must be reserved by
contacting me by email or phone. If there is no other party scheduled for
that time, the Party Reservation form at
http://starlightmesa.org/party%20reservation%20form.htm should
then be filled out and mailed to me along with a check for $50. made
out to SMHOA. Or you may place the envelope in my locked mailbox at
185 Starlight Crest Drive. The check will be returned if the area is
properly cleaned up after the party. Be sure to put my name on the
envelope as my grandson will be living with me for a year and
will also be receiving mail at my box.
Please note that Mesa residents may not be denied access at any time
to the pool or party areas even though the party time was reserved.
The reservation merely assures that there will be no other large group of
non-Mesa residents at that time.
Over the past three months, in accordance with the Mesa's Hillside
Maintenance Policy, the Board has supervised the planting of approximately 100
native shrubs, trees and groundcover on various hillsides of the Mesa. The
policy of eradicating fountain grass was also commenced. The continued
application of this policy will further our community's erosion and fire control
while curtailing the need for irrigation. This is especially
important in light of possible water restrictions.
