Board of Governors’ Meeting

 September 19, 2006

At the home of Bill Imbriale

Present:  Michael Durfee, Muriel Horacek, Bill Imbriale, Jodie Kendall, Hank Smither

1. Minutes of August 22 meeting were approved.

2. Treasurer Bill Imbriale reported that current bills have been paid.

3. Expenses of September 9^th BBQ were:

                Food                                                                          $   954.00

                Beverages, cutlery                                                        182.69

                Rental of tables & chairs                                              343.50

                Total expenses                                                         $1,480.19

        Receipts

             Donations from Korean families                                $   289.00

             Payments from attendees                                            1,252.50

            Total receipts                                                              $1,541.50

4. So far there haven’t been any candidates for the 2007 Board, so it was decided to send another newsletter and make personal contacts as needed.

5. A dues increase was approved, raising the quarterly payment $50, from the present $375 to $425, effective January 1, 2007.  Hank will write a letter to Mesa residents indicating the reason for this increase.
