  1. Minutes of August meeting were approved.
  2. Muriel reported that 65 adults and 18 children attended the Mesa BBQ on September 8th, for a total of 83.  There were 8 No Shows.  With the help of donations of beer from Deuk Lee and miscellaneous food items supplied by chefs Tina and Bob Blum, the deficit was $368.70, taken from the Mesa budget.
  3. Muriel is updating information for a new Mesa directory.
  4. Dayton reported that he sawed off the water pipe that intruded onto the JPL trail off Lower Stardust.

  7. The cost of planting a new oak tree in the putting green, as required by the City as a replacement for the tree removed near Merita Place will be $475, plus extra to remove the stump of a dead tree.
  8. Joe reported that many of the new plants on the Starlane slope have been eaten by deer.  They will be replaced by plants not favored by deer.
  9. Steve is working at getting our pool license renewed.
  10. Muriel reported that the cause of the recent leak in the pool filter was just a loose screw, thus no expense to fix.

Respectfully submitted,
