Minutes of Board Meeting,

August 12, 2010

7:30 PM at the pool

Present:  Board members:  Joe Bergen, John Kim, Muriel Horacek, Scott Swanson

--Minutes from the June 24^th meeting were approved.

--Treasurer’s Report:  Most Mesa residents are up-to-date on their dues payments.  One resident who is over $2500 in arrears has been served notice that a lien has been placed on his house.

--Maintenance:  the sprinkler changes as approved last month are being made.

            --a new roof for the gardener’s shed on Starlight Mesa Lane was approved, with work to

              be done before the rainy season

            --relandscaping for the entrance to the putting green on Starlight Crest Drive and the pool

              entrance on Starlane Drive was approved

            --a broom, dustpan and brush will be left near the bar area on the pool deck so that

              pool goers may clean up any spilled food items

--Scott will be in charge of ordering the food and tables and chairs for the annual BBQ on Saturday, Sept. 11.  Joe Bergen will reserve the movie.

--Muriel will send email notices and collect checks for the BBQ.

--John will begin planning the 2011 budget.  He will also contact La Canada Country Club re cost and dates for the annual meeting.

--Plans for a rear garden BBQ area presented by Leslie Naples were approved.

--The next Board meeting will be on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 7:00 PM at the pool.
