--The
minutes of the April 20th Board meeting were approved.
--The
“Authorization to Record a Lien” document was approved by the four Board
members present, and signed by Dirk Heinrich.
This will authorize SoCal Collections, LLC to record a lien against a
Mesa resident whose dues payments are long overdue.
--Dirk
received a quote of $275 to include $10,000 insurance against property loss,
which would not include a mower. He
will check with Jose as to the value of the mowers in the gardeners’ shed.
Without mowers, a $5,000 may be sufficient.
--Michelle
suggested several improvements for the good of the Mesa, which will be
considered by the Board. Two were
immediately approved: the purchase of a storage bin for pool toys, with the
stipulation that any resident may then make use of the contents and the
purchase of two signs to “clean up after your dog.” Michelle will order the signs.
The third item, a back board for the tennis court will most likely be
rolled into the tennis court renovation which can happen in 2012.

--The Board
approved the changes to Article X which were posted on our website, and are
attached to these minutes.
--The Board
approved the bid of $12,500 for Jose to do brush clearance in June.
--The Board
approved redoing the putting green irrigation system to nine zones instead of

--The Board
approved repairing an umbrella which was worth fixing, as described by Jenny.
Jenny will then mount the extra umbrella over the water fountain.

patio extend into Mesa common property.
--We are
awaiting a decision from the city concerning the safety traffic signs residents
requested.
