Minutes for SMHOA Board Meeting;

Present:  Joe Bergen, Tom Cwik, John Kim and Scott Swanson

OLD BUSINESS

• Financials;
• John Kim reported that all dues are current and few delinquencies were noted on pool assessment.
• Maintenance;
• Joe Bergin submitted a letter from the attorney of Bruce Miller
• Landscape planting came in $200-$400 over budget.
• Mulch project completed.
• Culvert project completed.
• Liability insurance in effect.
• Need bid from Jose Toribio for Bamboo removal around pool.
• Pool Drain $3,140 bid from Frank Malevar (Mako Pool & Spa).
• Unanimous approval.
• Brush clearance bid of $12,000. 
• Unanimous approval to give bid to Jose Toribio.

NEW BUSINESS

• Homeowner Solar Panel requests.
• SMHOA to require and review necessary permits.
• SMHOA to require and review sketch renderings.
• SMHOA to review requests individually, case by case.
• SMHOA “Supports Solar.”

• Annual Mesa Bar-B-Que set for Saturday September 12, 2009.
