Minutes of Board Meeting February 23, 2009

The meeting was called to order at 7:40 PM.
--Minutes of the January 20 Board meeting were approved.
--The Board approved a limit of 10 minutes for residents to present a concern to the Board. The Boardís response will be limited to 5 minutes, followed by a limit of 5 additional minutes by a resident.
--It was announced that the 08 Board approved a revision of the September minutes.
--The broken railings on the stairs to the tennis court were repaired and the rest of the railings strengthened at a cost of $900. This was approved by the Board by email.
--A fallen tree in the common area was removed.
--A plumber will be called to repair the ladiesí toilet which continues running after being flushed; a leak under the menís toilet; and the leak beneath the drinking fountain at the tennis court.
--The Board approved the purchases of a new clock for the pool house wall; and a sign at the park at the corner of Starlight Mesa Lane, indicating it is private for Mesa residents and citing the city ordinance.
--In anticipation of future county water restrictions due to our prolonged drought, the Board approved that a Mesa sprinkler control now located inside a garage at 5202 Starlight Mesa Lane be moved to the outside of that garage. Thus all sprinkler controls of Mesa common areas will be accessible by Mesa gardeners without disturbing residents.
--The Board approved putting a pool house renovation special assessment of $960 up to a vote by the residents. A summary will be added, to be approved by email vote by the Board, before it is sent to the residents.
